We are bombarded with advertisement campaigns these days; products all promising to make us look younger, turn back the clock and as a result, we’re supposed to be happier and more radiant. It can be confusing to know which products actually work!
The signs of aging can first start to show around the delicate eye area, with crow’s feet and fine lines appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Amongst that huge range of anti-aging products out there, eye creams aim to reduce those lines, meaning a slower ticking clock.
Let’s look at five of the best eye creams for wrinkles.
1. Burt’s Bees Repair Serum
Burt’s Bees is one of my favourite ranges, as not only does it look pretty with its fun packaging, but the products actually work for me, and are very kind to sensitive skin. This particular product contains no less than 11 essential natural botanicals, which sounds very scientific but generally means that it comes from natural sources, and isn’t jam-packed with harsh chemicals.
Users report a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles around the all-important eye area, as well as repairing sun damage – one of the harshest hitters out there.

2. Olay Regenerist Eye Regenerating Cream, plus a touch of concealer
Fantastic for those with combination skin, simply because this product is suitable for most skin types, use will reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and open up those tired eyes. The magic in its formula is the addition of concealer, which helps to eradicate dark circles and even up skin tone.
Make up, plus a purpose – anything better?
3. Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle
The Neutrogena range has the added bonus of being dermatologically recommended by experts, so you know you’re getting good quality before you even start. 95% of users reported a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, and just under half noticed faded dark circles too.
Widely available and affordable, makes this anti wrinkle cream a good choice for everyone in general.
4. Dermalogica Total Eye Care SPF 15
If you take your skin care seriously, you’ll be aware of the damage posed by the sun’s rays. We might love the summer, but our skin cringes. This particular product contains SPF 15, which gives protection against harmful UV rays, as well as containing firming plant extracts, which reduces skin puffiness.
Wrinkles and fine lines also get the heave-ho, as well as dark circles.
5. Kinerase Extreme Lift Eye Facial Care
Collagen is a naturally occurring substance in our skin, which keeps our complexion looking fresh and plump. Unfortunately as time goes on, things start to sag a little, but this particular anti-aging eye cream contains that magic collagen ingredient, which has the effect of plumping skin back up, whilst smoothing those lines at the same time. Double action indeed.
We can’t completely eradicate the signs of getting older (alas), but we do have these magic products in our grasp to at least slow it down a little. Thank goodness for small mercies.
